Closer Look: LiSA and Billing Compliance
Legal Decoder recently announced the launch of LiSA (Legal intelligent Spend Analyst), a GenAI-powered personal data analyst to help law firms and legal departments better understand their legal billing data. LiSA allows users to input questions in natural language to query data that has been analyzed by Legal Decoder engines. To better understand LiSA’s features, we will take a closer look at data that has been run through Compliance Decoder engine. The Compliance Decoder analyzes billing data for billing hygiene, staffing issues, and workflow inefficiencies.
Below is a standard interaction with LiSA:
A simple query asking “What is the invoiced amount (entire spend) for 2024?” returns an amount. To dig deeper into the data we can ask “List the total number of flags and amount for all of 2024.“ What returns is a top 10 list of flags for 2024.
Want to know how the Compliance flags are distributed by positions? LiSA can do that, too.
LiSA also provides users with suggested questions related to the prior question.
The powerful features of LiSA can amplify and simplify data analysis. LiSA provides an agentic interface for users looking outside of dashboards and spreadsheets.
